The Five Minute Master

The world of work is getting ever more competitive. To keep up I need to learn new stuff.  We all do. But how can we fit it all in? Life is frantic and the last thing I want to do at the end of a busy day is plough through a business book like a doorstop.

What I’d really like is a five minute conversation with a mentor who could just cut through all the noise. Someone who could tell me quickly and clearly how to go about doing something.

And that was how the five minute master guides were born. They tell you the key things you need to know based on experience and research. I’ve trialled (and sometimes errored) different approaches, boiled them down to the key things that work and summarised them for you. The books are bitesize ways to learn business skills that cost less than a latte, take minutes to read and fit easily into your hectic life (and your laptop bag).

Blaise Pascal, the brilliant French mathematician and philosopher once said, 'I have made this longer than usual because I have not had time to make it shorter.' With the five minute master guides, I've spent time making them shorter and doing the research so that you don’t have to. The five minute master guides are the smart way to get the skills and confidence to survive and thrive in modern business life.
